Northern Film School

Thursday, July 21, 2011

The Northern Film School, originally named the Northern School of Film and Television, was established over twenty years ago offering MAs in Film Production and Screenwriting. It was an innovative attempt to redress the somewhat geographically skewed national provision of high-level film and television education. In Britain, the few providers of advanced film education existed principally in the ‘south’, with London, Bristol, Farnham, Bournemouth, Kent and Newport as primary centres.
